When I was in rehab, there was a guy who went in the pool with his Foley and a 
leg bag. You don't want to risk disconnecting it and clamping it as that may 
not hold and if so you could get a nasty infection.
Ask what your MD has to say or call a rehab hospital and see what they usually 
do.

 Naomi, ask your provider about this.  I can see you going into the pool if you 
have an empty bladder, can disconnect your cath line from the bag, and clamp it 
off well.  It certainly would make you feel better if you could be free to do 
that but it is something you need to check with your doctor on.  Jeanne
