Oh my I can barely hop, if at all. Not sure if it is hop or a stumble. And,
skipping is totally gone. It is as if my body does not comprehend what my
mind is telling it to do. It is strange. I wonder why all neuros do not ask
us to try it. And, I wonder why this does not show up on the nerve

Hi Grace,
Oh, oh! That's why I mentioned in my e-mail that neither the hopping nor
skipping were exercises but that she was using them for diagnostic purposes.
When she had me try to hop, she had me stand in front of a grab bar o
I believe that Sal is talking about what I call scissoring legs is, when you
are walking forward and your leg move across in front of you or like a
scissoring in front of you. Or like walking a straight line for the police
officer to see if you are drunk. lol I would be able to do it really go
Hey Grace,
I did the grapevine walk when I was in Aqua Therapy. Even though I thought
my PT was NUTS, I was able to do it in the pool. I haven't even thought about
trying it on dry land. LOL
Keep up the great exercises, girlfriend.

*I just tried skipping---and absolutely cannot do it. (In fact, it was
almost tragic.) The hopping thing is so bizarre---I actually feel like I've
hopped despite accomplishing nothing. Now the skipping was a dangerous
undertaking for me and I don't think I'll try it again anytim

You remember, I hope, that I cannot walk at all and have no idea how strange
these emails regarding scissoring legs and hopping about sound to me.
Ms. Priss Grace is teasing me and won't tell me what it is all about. She
is being a huge brat !!!
Please help me.
Peace and Prayers,

I don't think there are any exercises to prevent scissoring. I used to do it
while I slept, but since using a pillow between my knees, it's subsided. Hey
Todd, i have to practice the walking sideways thing, too. There's two ways to

Hey Todd, i have to practice the walking sideways thing, too. There's two
ways to do it and I practice both. One is too simply sidestep with one
I don't believe there is A exercise that will help that, but I do believe doing
different exercises it will get better.
After 5 years of many exercises, I still walk scissoring legs.
Hey Frank, I had been ask to walk sideways a long the edge of the counter and
then back that is very hard
when i walk with my walker when i exercise my legs want to scissor in what
