Hi Wendy Welcome to the family of TMers. Tm hit me three years ago, I'm now 56. I wasn't able to return to my banking job of 37 years, so I now tell everyone I'm retired. I walk with a cane, but I find myself wanting to walk away from it occasionally. I have healed a lot since those first days in the hospital bed wondering where I would be spending the rest of my life. I wore a brace for about 18 months and even drove while wearing it. I use my left foot to brake so neither foot has to move far. Life with TM is different, but far far from over.
