Akua, your situation is so much more involved than ours.
The airlines are usually so good to do whatever it takes to make you
comfortable on the flight. I think your biggest concern aside from
that (and that is a really big issue!) is that you are up against
time, aren't you?

to the gate. However I can use a walker to get to my seat. If you cannot
do that the flight personnel are usually wonderful. They have a special
aisle wheelchair and will transfer you themselves into your seat
