Anyone still having this problem should install the latest 7.5.2 nightly
release from here: http://downloads.slimdevices.com/nightly/?ver=7.5
and retest playback of their Apple Lossy/Lossless files

I just saw your other post in the Dev forum. Where are you that the Duet
is not available? Although the standalone SB Duet _Receiver_ is out of
stock most places, I haven't heard reports of supply issues with the
Duet package.

The CLI is a function of the server, not the player. If you mean is the
CLI the same for the regular Squeezebox Server and the Touch's built-in
server (TinySBS), then I am pretty sure the answer is yes.

Thanks for the reply. I posted this in the Dev forum, but do you happen
to know if the Touch supports the same command line interface as the
Duet?

Yes, the SB Duet Controller can control any Squeezebox, including the
Touch. I don't know where you're located, but in the US the standalone
SB Controller is available from the usual online places, including
logitech.com and amazon.com. In fact Amazon is showing it for US$215
right now.

You mention that "it looks like we would never have been able to get
our hands on 3000 Touch units anyway". Could you elaborate? Are there
yield or other production volume limitations of some sort on the touch?
