So in the process of using the Squeezebox Touch, I discovered radioIO.
I REALLY like their 70's rock station. What I DON'T like is constant
drop outs (rebuffering?)...
Is anyone else experiencing this?
Also, since their site claims it works better w/the Touch when you have
a radioIO account, w

For some reason, this suggestion did not work.
But switching off the PC side server and doing a factory reset did.
Thank you very much for your reply.

Hi mnyb and tank121,
I am exporting my playlists through wlan from my PC too.
It's quite an effort to let the search and replace command run through
every m3u-file just to get the correct path etc.
Do you have any ideas how this procedure could be automized?

I copied all my music files from my PC to a Vortexbox Appliance. I
pointed the Squeezebox Server that resides in my PC to the new location
and everything has been working fine for weeks.
But how do I set the Squeezebox Server on the VBA to take over so that
I can turn off my PC?
I did a factory

Hi, I hope someone can help.
I've got a Touch since a year, and always used it through a DAC.
Today I sold the DAC, and decided to listen to the RCA's.
So I connected it, but no music, only a loud electonic humming.
I factory resetted the Touch, did no could. Reinstalled the software,
nada, still

It won't hurt to uninstall it I guess. In any case you would avoid
interferences between both mods.

Note also that with the Touch you can do the upgrade with either a SD

The procedure is the same it's buried in the wiki somewhere
http://wiki.slimdevices.
Can someone direct me to instructions for doing this? Couldn't find
them.
I recall it was possible with the Duet Controller, so I assume it's
possible for the Touch.
Thanks

Touch
Some basic Touch + USB/SD troubleshooting tips (I know you tried some of
these):
- Try an external USB power source, HD power supply or a powered USB
hub. (Touch may not have enough bus power to power the USB HD)
- Check the formatting of the USB HD, Touch supported HD formats:

Hello everyone,
I just bought a SQ Touch yesterday, and today, and wanted to plug my

The number 1 issue at the moment, is that my hard drive isn't detected
at all by the Squeezebox.
It's a hard drive that was

hi aubuti,
i think so.i had a lot of trouble figuring out the 2.0 mods as i am not
very computer minded, but i got there with a lot of help with others on

when i opened the window in winscp i dragged the

just to follow up, thanks for the help. MP3Tag really helps to see
what's going on with your organisation, and after a long night of
reading about how different systems handle the info differently... (and
unticking the 'use iTunes' box) stress levels are down!

I use the Touch with a pair of AudioEngine A5 speakers (self powered,
self amplified) for a mobile audio solution.
The Touch usually ends up on top of the main A5 source speaker (the
speaker with the power supply and amps) and has no ill effect on the
resulting audio.

Having studied the code in this vol100 mod, it is obvious that all that
is happening is that the calculated value (65536 when vol=max) is being
hardcoded to 65536. The computer is doing EXACTLY the same amount of
work in both cases and the volume is exactly the same - to eliminate
