Sample rates greater than 96 have to be streamed as flac. Note this is
the stream format NOT the file format. LMS can transcode the file into a
flac stream no matter what the actual file format is on the disk.
You can do this through the LMS web page (port 9000 of the server
computer). Go to:

BTW those files play perfectly fine on my MacMini/Pure Music through the
same DAC.

Having troubles with most Hires files, both with ALAC, AIFF and FLAC
files, 24/96 88.2 and 192.
Some of them play fine but I cannot find the pattern when they fail or
play.
Symptoms include loud static, playing extra S-L-O-W or no sound at all.
Configuration:
Server: Macbook Pro with 8GB RAM
Uninstalling and reinstalling the app did the trick. Now that it's
dark, I can see that the glow-in-the-dark Touch is no longer.

Previously I've posted my checking according to DAC from Audio-gd
using VIA VT1731 usb chip on thread 'Async USB Dac Experiments - testers
wanted...'.
It seems that if DAC operates under the EDO app it doesn't means that it
uses asynchronous
data transfer. Some one already posted on:

Hmmmthanks. Sounds like it may not be functioning correctly. I
shall uninstall and reinstall the app and see if that makes any
difference.

Hi,
I've currently got that setup working ( SBT(EDO) > AP2+PP > SPDIF-DAC)
and it really helps sound quality for me. Do you have EDO properly
installed and have you selected the AP2 from it's setup menu? When I
first got my AP+PP it didn't start because the power cord between the
two wasn't proper

First of all, thanks Triode for this great applet.
I'm new owner of Audio-gd NFB-1.32 DAC.
Because this DAC sounds better when connected by USB
I tried your applet. Installation was very easy. So far
I only played 16/44 files and have not noticed any problems.
But checking information about USB
I'm not really sure what you try to accomplish ?
Touch already have a perfectly fine spdiff output ( and toslink optical
too ).
Touch does not by default supports USB audio , you need to install
Triodes EDO applet this works with some (not all ) USB DAC's or other
USB adio devices .

It does, something is not correct with your router/network.

Same as above, likely netw
I installed it from the Touch and from settings selected off when
playing. It completely turns the screen off - no glow :-)
