I missed this part when I first read your post. So with 7.7.1, you have
no dropouts. Interesting. I have never tried firmware beyond 7.7.1. I
was thinking about trying something below 7.8 (7.8 requires

Wondered about that. Will purchase one today and try this evening.

No. Will convert a couple 192 alac files to test this evening.

Interesting. I'll have to try FLAC then. :) I'll report back later on
my findings. (Sound quality, etc)

PasTim and Mnyb, thank you for your input. I was unable to get the dac
to play (register) anything beyond 96 sample rate while playing 192
sampler rate alac files no matter what combination of server settings I
chose. I shouldn't be too surprised given Triode's disclaimer.
Well, this morning when I turned on my Laptop, LMS was not finding my SB
Touch. This time I reset the router, and upon startup I got a message
from windows that there was an IP address conflict. So, I restarted the
Touch and my Laptop. No IP address conflict, but I still could not see
my Touch via

I'd probably turn everything off (computer running LMS and router), then
restart router, let start, restart computer, let fully start, then start
LMS. If LMS starts automatically with computer, I'd probab

Can anyone help me resolve the disappearance of the 3rd Party Plugins
from my control panel.
I have just changed servers / computers (moving from wireless to
ethernet). This resulted in the Triode Spotify applet disappearing from
the device and the official plugin reappearing after I swapped over
I am currently using devialet 110 (xmos USB chip). When I plugged in the
dac, squeezebox recognizes it. But when I select the xmos USB,
squeezebox gone into an infinite reboot loop. I have tried every kernel,
is there something I could do?

Good Idea !! . This will probably fix it!
Thank you very much for your responses.
Let me take up the various points:
1. Just for information, the scanning time for the disk is in the 10-15
minute range if I have simply added a few CDs or if the system has been
powered down for another reason. If I erase the database and start
afresh, it

With network connection playing WAV files on SBT has been measured to
have a higher processing load than playing Flac due to more than double
the amount of data to be proc
Have you tried restarting the router?
I get occasional issues like this, not just with the Squeezebox but
other devices as well, almost without fail a router restart will fix it.

Sure Touch is connecting to the correct WiFi router? Any other
networks/routers showing up with same name?

There is no processing/transcoding when using Touch's TinyLMS, Touch
isn't capable of it.
