You CANNOT. repeat CANNOT just use a generic RJ45 jack with the touch.
The Touch uses an Ethernet jack which includes the Ethernet transformers
built in to the jack!!! You have to find one which includes the same
transformer connections (there are several different possible ways the
transformers

I haven't restarted LMS only because I have disabled and re enable both
plugins and all changes have taken affect without a restart. However I
will try a restart :-)

Hi,
I am trying to get this working with the denonavpcontrol plugin on my
touch. I have SSH'd in and changed the gain settings to 65535 and it
still hasn't set the level to 100%.
Has anybody else got this working?

since my touch has gone i cant really remember if icmp was enabled -
but a telnet 9001 to the touch should be helpful to check if the
connection to the touch is really lost...

Ethernet ports or even your router. Might be worth trying a different
cable and maybe a different port on your router, see if it helps.
