It looks like the perfect device for what I want (need).
Skipping plug-ins and all the other fancy stuff of the Duet, one would
think that the basics (as mentioned before) could be run from the Duet
without computer or server as well. The receiver lacks a USB connection
though.

Looks like the Squeezebox Touch is something for me (Good thing it is
almost Christmas).
Besides my music collection I only listen to internet radio stations. I
don't need all the other services.
