You mention HDMI are you using an AV reciever ? Nowdays they very rarely have a true analog passthru so why not use the coax or toslink from Touch (and crank up the Touch own volume to 100% or set it as fixed ). In almost every case the correct way to hook up anything to an modern av-receiver is
