Have you changed any of the settings in the advanced menu under "file
types"?
If so, you have to make sure that you have the correct selections
active for AIFF files. When I originally got my touch, I was
experimenting and for AIFF file types, I left the "stream" selection as
"native" for AIFF s

I bought a product supposed to play 24/96 files (at least from USB) and
unfortunately this is not true. Logitech should precise that.

That is the answer i was afraid to hear.
I don't want to let my PC swithed on all the day and I don't want to
use FLAC because it means converting all my files and in addition it is
not compatible with itunes which is fine to manage my library.
I'm not very happy with this squeezebox in the end.

A summary of my tests :
FLAC and WAV 16/44 and 24/96 always works
ALAC 16/44 always works
AIFF 16/44 always works
ALAC 24/96 don't works from NAS and don't work from USB
AIFF 24/96 don't works from NAS and don't work from USB

Will a touch play aiff files natively? If not can built in tinyLMS
handle transformation? Not sure of either but if first answer is no,
I tested with a USB key to check if the NAS is a problem.
The aif file on a USB key does not work.
So it may not be a NAS problem.
