Up until yesterday this had been working fine for months.  Now, if I
send the following query to the search API it gives me an error that I
have to enter a query

Here is the call that used to work:

http://search.twitter.com/search.json?geocode=39.031721,-77.50482,5mi&rpp=100

HTTP Return Code: 403
{"error":"You must enter a query."}

As you can see my mobile app is now getting a 403.

If this was an inadvertent change, thats fine, can you change it back
and give us some warning?

Right now this has broken my mobile app as we use that query for
showing tweets within a 5mile radius.

It looks like if I add a &q=* to the end it works as it used to.
Don't mind making the change, just need some lead time so I can get
the new app out to >100k mobile users.
