On gutsy on firefox 2.0.0.4 I am able to hear the sound output with the
Mplayer plugin . I am using mplayer plugin (3.40-5ubuntu2) and have configured

I think I've found a workaround for this. After you mount another
partition or an ISO to /cdrom, get to the installer menu and choose
"load installer components from cd". Install the machinery for
detecting and loading ISOs. Then unmount your /cdrom (and whatever
other partition you may have mou
I can confirm this bug. It's there since I switched from edgy to feisty
(kubuntu) and after some debugging I came to the following conclusions:
- The cause for this behavior is that the PS/2 keyboard is not recognized as a
new device by the kernel until the user presses a key.

I had a similar problem with Vista and a fresh Ubuntu 7.04 install. It
was a bit peculiar as it had functioned perfectly well for a few boots,
so I thought the HDD had died at first. After manually booting the MBR
with Super GRUB disk everything worked normally, which led me to suspect
the problem

I can confirm this bug using 3.2.13(1)-release (i486-pc-linux-gnu)!
Following the above steps reproduces the buggy behavior. Here is another
way to reproduce the bug:

Ok here are the list of texlive packages that are given back by apt-file
when asking for the missings sty files.
