[Bug 228009] [NEW] excessive memory usage

Public bug reported: Binary package hint: firefox-3.0 I start the application and the memory usage reported in system monitor just keeps growing and growing and gradually slows the system down. As a test I closed Firefox, killed the process then started it afresh. initial mem usage was about 20MB
