It's not occuring on Dapper Drake, in fact it's the only Ubuntu release that
properly ejects my usb pens.
I was testing the LiveCD in my mother's laptop.
Here's the information/files:

Just to add that this also occurs on Gutsy Gibbon Tribe 4.
I was testing it on my mother's laptop in order to supply information for the

working.
I've attached gvm.log, lshal.txt, devices.txt and dmesg.txt on a gzipped
tarball.
