Public bug reported:

Whenever I try to create a virtual machine in Boxes, I can get all the
way through loading the boot menu from the given .iso file (in my case,
attempting to create an Ubuntu Server 14.04.2 LTS 64-bit virtual machine
on my Ubuntu GNOME 14.04 LTS 64-bit host OS), but after hitting the
Enter key to select the the option to install, Boxes backs out to the
main screen and just shows a blank black rectangle in the upper left
corner.

See attachments: I included both a screencast of the issue in action,
and a text file containing errors when doing those steps while running
via gnome-boxes >> boxes_errors.txt 2>&1 .
