The system where we had seen most of these hangs is now running kernel 4.4.0-62
(and corresponding aufs.ko module still based on 4.x-rcN-20160111).
NVIDIA driver has been updated to 361.119.
The system's been running the new code

Same host hung again under similar workload.
Will attach kernel log from new hang as "dlfire5-oct18b-kern.log".
