I had the same problem. I tried the above suggestions without success.
I also tried gconf-cleaner with no luck. I was finally able to fix this
by doing an rm -rf .compiz* from my home directory and restarting
lightdm.

I ack the roaming by Seth. We have multiple 802.11n APs with the same
SSID here that are WPA2 encrypted but on different channels. Those
affected go into a roam loop. When they connect to a non-WPA2 single
SSID AP they have no problem. I've seen this on three different Intel
setups across multip
Also for confirmation this only happens on Linux (and all those variants
affected are Ubuntu). No problems reported on mobile phones, Windows,
or Mac.

Hi,
@Matthieu Yes I completely forgot there is one Debian laptop here that
is affected. Also the problems exhibiting here appear to mostly be
reason code 2 and 3. On most of the reason code 2s killing
wpa_supplicant was work-around. If we have the issue again today I'll
get a few folks to add
Here is my syslog. My own case is a little different. Mine normally
works until I come out of suspend and then it goes through a bunch of
retries and eventually I can connect. This happens about 80% of the
time. 10% it doesn't connect at all and 10% I have no problems.

@seth attached a quick screenshot of the environment where it happens

I suspect this may also be a dup of open bug #666286 and open bug

I found these after I had this same crash today. I can force Mutt to
crash via a different mechanism though, via a notmuch-mutt call and
doing a search for a popular word.

I get this as well.
This only happens when Unity with Compiz is running. It doesn't happen
when I use gnome-shell, KDE, XFCE, and LXDE.

I should also note that I was able to fix this on my system76 machine
with a complete format and reinstall. The above items are appearing on
my zareason box. So this is certainly not vendor dependent.

Despite having an Nvidia GeForce 9400 GT (driver 304.51) I see that

I then get an error of
