[Bug 1418134] Re: Alps TouchPad not recognized by kernel

2026-04-09 Thread 🤖 prod-kernel-team-janitor
The task "linux (Ubuntu)" has expired because it has had no new comments
or updates for more than three years.

If this issue is still present in an Ubuntu LTS kernel still under
active support, please reopen the bug and provide updated details. If
this issue was reported against an Ubuntu kernel no longer under active
support but the issue still exists in a currently supported Ubuntu
kernel, please open a new bug against that kernel version and provide
the updated details, with a reference link to the original bug.

This action was performed by an automated process maintained by the
Ubuntu Kernel Team.

I think this may be the commit that is needed:

3808843 Input: alps - add support for v7 devices

[Bug 1418134] Re: Alps TouchPad not recognized by kernel

2015-02-05 Thread Joseph Salisbury
I'm not sure if that is the correct commit. It's been in the kernel
since 3.13-rc4:

git describe --contains 754ac45745711a7ce0067087e5b55a9c277952ad
v3.13-rc4~42

I'll take a look at the commits in 3.17 and see if any stick out.

We could also perform a "Reverse" bisect to identify the commit.
