The package will build now and be available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/protobuf-c/1.3.3-1ubuntu0.3 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository. This makes sense, and thanks for re-running the autopkgtests, I was going to ask for that. But I'm concerned with the age of this package. As you said, it's been in proposed for close to a thousand days. That means it was last built over 2 years and a half ago, with whatever was in focal-proposed at that time. Which is not what is in focal-proposed today. I think we should rebuild this package, and then rerun the tests, and then we can release it to updates if all goes well. I don't know of a way to do this other than a no-change rebuild upload. protobuf-c/1.3.3-1ubuntu0.2 has been sitting in focal-proposed for almost 1000 days, without any additional SRU being deployed. Focal 20.04 is going to be out of standard support later this year. I'm removing the "block-proposed" tag, unblocking this SRU, to make life easier for ESM folks, by having proper testing in place after Focal EOL. I also re-confirmed that the autopkgtests are still passing.
