[Bug 2107691] Re: missing reportview.so file in kmymoney package

2025-06-13 Thread Steven Wormuth
I am also affected, and cannot run reports after upgrading to 25.04. Is
this on the radar, or am I unable to run reports until October?

[Bug 2107691] Re: missing reportview.so file in kmymoney package

2025-06-02 Thread Arnaud L
I tested installing those packages from 25.10 dev version and it fixes
the issue:

libkchart2_2.8.0-4ubuntu1_amd64.deb
kmymoney-common_5.1.3-2_all.deb
kmymoney_5.1.3-2_amd64.deb

I guess we need to have https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kdiagram2
packaged for 25.04 (is that possible ?) and have the update 5.1.3-2 that
add libkchart2-dev to B-D

[Bug 2107691] Re: missing reportview.so file in kmymoney package

2025-06-01 Thread Peter R
After discussions with @ipwizard on Telegram, I was able to see the
Reports option again.

By using the AppImage and changing the Graphics platform from Wayland to
X11, the Report option appeared in both the stable and developments
versions of the AppImage. I could see all my reports there as well.

So it is a wayland issue for the appimage.

Of course, there is still a a packaging issue for the binary version on
(k)ubuntu.

[Bug 2107691] Re: missing reportview.so file in kmymoney package

2025-05-22 Thread Peter R
I have tried running a KMyMoney AppImage and it crashes. Both snap and
flatpak versions of KMyMoney are outdated. There is no method to run
reports in Kubuntu 25.04.

When will this be fixed please ?

[Bug 2107691] Re: missing reportview.so file in kmymoney package

2025-05-21 Thread Peter R
I have the file /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-
gnu/qt5/plugins/kmymoney/reportsview.so from a backup. However it seems
there is no point in trying to use that as the 'reports' plugin because
there are no files named "libchart2" from the 25.04 install either.

The bug seems like a packaging issue ?? This KDE bug reports shows
'resolved' - https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=501597
