Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. I have tried reproducing the test scenarios in a clean 24.04 VM environment with the the detailed scripts and the output appears uncorrupted. One thing of note is the provided scripts are riddled with NBSP whitespace characters.
