a Lubuntu w/Utopic HWE upgrade and I think all looks fine:

I see very similar crashes since upgrading from 15.10 to 16.04. I'm on a
Lenovo ideapad 300 with Skylake graphics

When running gfx gears fps is a healthy 48-58 fps , but when other movements
are made on screen this drops terrible . Chrome browser is extremely slow to

its vivid counterpart isn't already installed.

I did an HWE upgrade today, with -proposed enabled, on a 14.04 system
with the Vivid HWE stack installed. After the upgrade I had the
xserver-xorg-video-mach64-lts-xenial and xserver-xorg-video-r128-lts-
xenial packages installed.

I tested update-manager version 0.196.18 from trusty-proposed and
libwayland-egl1-mesa-lts-xenial was installed (on a system that had the

After login, the touchpad is detected and shown in xinput --list and in
/proc/bus/input/devices. But any movements or clicks are not detected.

With the possibility of libglvnd landing either in yakkety or y+1, I
think it makes sense to wait for that. (That landing might also fix the
