I booted last nights Ubuntu-GNOME 15.04 cdimage, and the titlebar
problem is not present there. I haven't used it enough to see if it also
fixes the other graphical regressions.

I tried the updated mesa from xorg-edgers. Unfortunately that doesn't
solve the issue and makes the other issues much worse (now almost every
app is missing some glyphs and icons, and windows have a weird glow
around them where the shadow would otherwise be).

That might be true, as I just downgraded to xf86-video-intel version
2.99.910-0ubuntu1.3 (i.e. the version from 14.04) and I still get the
titlebar problem. I'll look for some time to experiment with different
Mesa versions.

Managed to capture a screenshot with "sleep 10 && import -window root".
Here you can see where the maximized window is missing the right hand side of
the title bar, and also some weird stuff on the left.

I've reproduced the 2nd problem twice today, still with that new driver
version.
