I downgraded like the reporter and things appear to be working now. Earlier, off a fresh install and prior to installing any nvidia drivers, my Ubuntu 10.10 desktop was running off the right and bottom of my Sony Vaio F Series' 1920x1080 screen, regardless of resolution setting. It seemed like the

The problem has appeared to go away for me. About two weeks after filing the report, I wiped my machine and re-installed Ubuntu 9.10 with what I believe was all the packages I had previously added, except for all those that use KDE. Whatever the reason, I have not had the problem since the re-ins

My crash dialog says that "apport-gpu-error-intel.py", and when I report it I get directed to log an error here under xserver-xorg-video-intel. I assume this is intended behavior, and that apport isn't itself actually crashing (contrary to my original post), but please let me know if I should be lo
