I can not reproduce the issue using http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-
ppa/mainline/v4.5-rc1-wily/ suggesting the issue is fixed upstream or
local to the Ubuntu kernel.

Still current on 10.10
Only chrome (Both chrome and chromium) and evince seem to be effected for me.
An X restart solves the issue. It happens about once every 2 weeks with daily
use.
I will try to get a screen-shot next time.
