Yes, still the same after upgrade to Ubuntu 11.10. Maximum resolution on
HDMI output is 1360x768.

Hi,
I have a FULL HD LCD TV connected as second display via HDMI. It is a LG 32" TV.
In Monitor Preferences dialog it is detected as Goldstar Company Ltd 52" with
maximum resolution of 1360x768 while the real resolution of the TV is 1920x1080.
This problem appeared right af
Microsoft Digital Media Keyboard 1.0A + Microsoft IntelliMouse Optical USB.
Same issue. Solved with the fix provided above.
