Has there been any update on this issue? I'm still experiencing problems
after a fresh install of 11.10.

I can confirm this this is still an issue in Natty, on a brand-new
install on a Dell Studio 1535. Also, keys are missed every so often,
causing misspellings all over the place.
Very frustrating! I'm happy to post any debug info or logs as required.
