as mentioned above I enabled trusty proposed updates and then created the proposed-updates file in /etc/apt/preferences.d Package: * Pin: release a=trusty-proposed Pin-Priority: 400 so far I have not seen the update on trusty 14.04 (3.16.0-34-generic #47~14.04.1-Ubuntu) -- You received this bug
