Not only did that not fix the touchpad problem, when I rebooted I discovered that Ubuntu will not even boot up. It appears that a new kernal was installed and gnome seems to start but I only get the command line. Now I have to reinstall ubuntu just to get it to work. On Wed, Aug 19, 2009 at 4:31 A
