I believe that this bug has expired. Bryce Harrington stated that
anyone who experiences this problem should file a new bug report running
"ubuntu-bug xorg" from the terminal (See post #8). Also, if it isn't

problem after switching to 9.10 (don't know if i were using the 180 or

I've posted a new version of the -nvidia driver to our xorg-edgers PPA,
would you mind testing it either on Jaunty or Karmic and see if it
resolves this bug?

That doesn't look like the same bug. The most prominent feature of this
is the screen rapidly flashing black. The mouse is totally unresponsive
and occurrences of this bug either clear up or cause x to crash within a
minute, so there's no time for the screen to dim and be brought back by
mouse mo

I've added a link to a similar Fedora bug. They dont relate the problem
to nvidia, and seem to think its hw.
Can you confirm the same issue with different mouse and kb?
