Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-ati
Usually it's when I click an item in my taskbar (Which is at the top of my second monitor). I have dual widescreen, Dell. THe card is an ATi Radeon HD 2400 XT Today it did it when my machine was under heavy load and I clicked calendar. It wont reload X automatically, I have to reboot. This has happened to me for maybe 1 year now, it stopped 5 months ago, for 3 months, and is now back. It is happening every single day now. The screens drop to the text display, show a big multicoloured box, then flash back to the information which was on my console before GDM started up.
