On my machines it is still a problem in Miro. Ubuntu 11.10 on a Thinkpad W701. Machine(!) crashes when playing the Google Tech Talks rather randomly. Black screen. Mouse can be moved, but I have to do a hard reset. Sound is sometime continuing but stops later. -- You received this bug notifica

I'm experiencing this on Arch Linux (so yeah, everything's up-to-date - xorg-server 1.11.2, VLC 1.1.12). It only started happening in the last few weeks, though, but I didn't notice it soon enough for any updates to stand out in the logs. Error message is the same (searching it got me here). --
