You filed this bug report against natty, but I see it's still open and
doesn't appear to have much activity recently. So, now that oneiric
is released and stable, this may be a good point for you to upgrade
and re-test if this issue is still present there.
If it's solved in the n
fixed:
1.- edit /etc/grub.d/10_linuxas root ($sudo gedit /etc/grub.d/10_linux)
2.- search "set gfxpayload=/$linux_gfx_mode" and replace for "set
gfxpayload=$linux_gfx_mode" (remove the "/",arround line 98 inside this file)
3.- save it.
4.- Run "$sudo update-grub"
4.- reboot ($sudo reboot)
