This is a real annoying bug, as I have also experianced it in Dapper
Drake 6.06LTS kernel 2.6.15-25. It did the same thing on 2 diffrent
computers. One is an Acer ferrari, and another and dual boot windows
desktop.
It makes me use windows :(
When the last patch came out, and both systems were up

Thanks for the response Lionel. I followed your advice, and when I
looked at the log it was complaining about .htoprc. I removed the file
and tried invoking htop and it worked fine. I'll try to file a bug
report for this (htop will crash on a bad .htoprc) upstream.

Hi Evan,
This is the right place for all Ubuntu related bugs (main, restricted,
universe and multiverse).
I can not reproduce your segfault here. Can you try
strace -o htop.log htop
Check the end of htop.log what the last log entries are?

Here is what I see when I run htop:

Segmentation fault

I did some googling for this, and didn't find anything like what I am
getting. Someone had a blog entry up about how great htop is
This should be fixed with 1.0.16-0ubuntu1 in edgy. Please reopen
otherwise

The debian package that should be synced is the latest debian version,
so it should be fixed. The changelog talks about all these changes, and
I see the things you're talking about in the diff-file.

Please also look at
https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/widelands/+bug/51451 which
is really important (as long as this bug wasn't the reason, why you want
to build a new package.:) )
And as I know from debian-packager, this bug mentioned above is solved
in newer versions, but please test
I do not know if this is a bug of amavisd-new or amavis-ng. I have to
check the policy to ensure wether amavis-ng has todelete the user or
amavisd-new should ensure that the directory is a good one.

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: amavisd-new
1: When amavis-ng installs itself, it creates the amavis user with home
dir /var/lib/amavis-ng.
2: When it uninstalls it doesn't remove the user.
3: When amavisd-new installs it doesn't correct the user path

It is not the case any more in Dapper final release. This bug may have
