No, I don't confirm that. I hadn't seen anything like that, except
disappearing of top and bottom shadows. Shadows don't reappear even if
'enhanced zoom' in compiz is used. It seems that size of window also has
impact here, because for larger windows, sufficient shadow radius is

You can modify the Device section in /etc/X11/xorg.conf to include:
Driver "vesa"
I think this is the same as booting in "Safe graphics mode", and gives you a
working desktop on Ubuntu.
Unfortunately, this bypasses the Intel driver and the B202 processor
alone is not sufficient to run a smooth TV
Is there any sense asking the author to release under a better license.
Is there a suitable license (eg one which is common in texlive and suits
debian/ubuntu) we could suggest to him?

The gPass Icon looks very out of the way when placed in the Ubuntu Menu,
and looks outdated and old. ()
I propose we use a tango icon styled on the original gPass icon instead,
so that gPass looks like something that is meant to be there.

Hi Y'all,
Could someone please tell me what binary functionality has been
changed/removed from libopenal with this change?
I understand that the implementation has been changed radically. But
OpenAL is an API for general access to abstract sound hardware.
So...what _can't_ I do with libopenal.so
