Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: idjc

I'm using Ubuntu 9.04 x86_64.
I'm using IDJC 0.7.14

I installed all the requirements for IDJC. Then I installed IDJC using the
"Add/Remove..." tool in Ubuntu.
I installed a shoutcast server in my system.
I loaded IDJC and it worked fine, it played mp3s with no problem. Then I went
to the Server Option and entered the information to start broadcasting to the
ShoutCast server I had already installed in my system [which was already
running]. I clicked in the "Server Connect" button but nothing happened. IDJC
did not broadcast to the shoutcat server.
Then I entered false information in the fields for the Host and Password, I
clicked on "Server Connect" again and nothing happened. Not even an error
message. It's like the button doesn't do anything at all.

I uninstalled IDJC and tried by compiling it from source using the steps
from this manual
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=5200135&highlight=idjc#post5200135.
IDJC worked again, but I couldn't connect to the ShoutCast Server.

I have IDJC installed and running perfectly in a different Hard Drive
using Ubuntu 8.10 x86_64. It's the same machine, just a different
version of Ubuntu.
