Should I ask someone to backport this package to karmic? Most people
just wait an easy way (or should I say the right one?) to get it fixed.
We must remember that Ubuntu users are mostly ordinary users and they
picked up Ubuntu because it's easy to update/maintain.

Ifc there's a keyboard model defined, it doesn't crash too often. I set
it up as Generic PC (Intl) 105 keys.
.xsession-erros keeps showing up errors related to it after login.

Problem apparently solved. I just moved $HOME/.config/xfce4 directory to
another location and restarted xfce without rebooting.
Now, as you can see, .xession-errors has only a few lines after the
startup. I'm changing its status to invalid.

It happens only with my old login. I tried with a fresh one (new account
with no old settings) and didn't show up the same errors. Just for
comparision, below the .xsession-errors that belongs to the fresh
account.
$ sudo cat /home/chronos/.xsessi
Now, after a restart, seems to be fine again. I'm marking this as
invalid.
