Binary package hint: gnome-shell
I have just installed gnome-shell on my IBM Thinkpad X31 (Karmic).
Typing:
gnome-shell --replace
into a terminal brings the system to a confused video state, with very
poor quality and garbled text. No way to exit, just power off the
machine
Thanks Mark, I had a look at it. But as said by Seb, it's not a trivial
task.

No way to use internet external after a VPN connection, due to wrong route
table.
When I connect to my VPN using Network Manager, I end up with the wrong
route table. Here's what I start with:

That was for breezy and for previous version of tpb. I have discussed
this with siretart and we ended up it is not a bug of tpb but a problem
of udev that is not registering /dev/nvram to the nvram group.
