FYI flash is slow on my ee even running windows unless its set to super
performance mode (which I don't want to worry about getting manually
implemented in ubuntu so I stick with XP). This bug is for people on
normal hardware that should be able to play flash under windows but dies

I ran a mount-check command at the suggest of a forum member this
morning and it says it was mounted fine in rw mode. I also tried a sudo
terminal copy but got the same "Permission deniedcannot
access...blah blah" for every file that was attempted to be copied.

I can confirm this bug as well in Jaunty x64. However, when I modify
the file suggested in comment 4 to:
volume.fstype.alternative
volume.fstype.alternative
volume.mount.ntfs-3g.valid_options
It has no effect. I didn't have any "exec" o
