Hardware Info: Fujitsu Siemens Lifebook S6010 00:02.0 (8086:3577) VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 82830 CGC [Chipset Graphics Controller] (rev 04) I am currently unable to get a working xorg-server for the mentioned hardware configuration. I've tried the following configurations: 1. With an empty xorg.conf (using the intel driver) as supplied by default At first I get a distorted picture, but after a few seconds I'm thrown back to the console. see Xorg.0.log.empty 2.
