Public bug reported: Many mkv files apparently have mimetype "video/x-mkv" and not "video/x-matroska". To solve this a line is needed under the <mimetype- contenttype> stanza:
<treat mimetype="video/x-mkv" as="mkv"/> By having this line in the default stanza it will great end confusion on why some cannot play many mkv files through mediatomb. ** Affects: mediatomb (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: karmic ** Tags added: karmic -- Add to default config.xml settting to treat mimetype video/x-mkv as mkv https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/417533 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-b...@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs -- universe-bugs mailing list universe-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/universe-bugs
