Well, right. That's most probably it. Thank you. I feel little stupid
for not finding it on my own. I was too busy (and tired) fixinig trivial
issues in dh-make-php :/
OTOH, I will monitor the situation and resubmit this request when the
php-pear issue will be solved.

This seems to fail similarly for 0.3.1-1. I'll try to ask the server

Well, basically I maintain this package on Debian and it builds on
current unstable without problems. The critical fragment of build log
looks like:
ln -f -s ../package.xml VersionControl_SVN-0.3.3
# install everything in default locations
/usr/bin/pear \
-c debian/pearrc \
That was my amd64 lucid pbuilder. It still happens, I just updated the
pbuilder:
ln -f -s ../package.xml VersionControl_SVN-0.3.3
# install everything in default locations
/usr/bin/pear \
-c debian/pearrc \
-d include_path=/usr/share/php \
-d php_bin

Could you, please, tell me where this log comes from? Is it from official
Ubuntu buildd system?
This is the pear install command which fails and I have no means to
check why it failed at this time. I also wonder how the previous version
of php-versioncontrol-svn build on Ubuntu - it shall

1) This package does not need a sync request, it's unmodified in Ubuntu and
we're not in DebianImportFreeze yet.
2) The Debian version does not build in Ubuntu ludic. Did you try test-building
this?
