Hi Stebor
Can you please explain, step by step, how you managed to get the hdmi
audio output working.

Just a thought - Another option might be does the Smart TV detect LMS
through a UPnP app? My LG TV can. I can scroll through a menu to
select artist, album, genre. I'm not sure how it would out with the
picture-in-picture, though.
I believe their are issues with PcP 8.0 and HDMI output unless these
have been resolved and I missed it?
Should work fine with V7 though

Has anyone done this:
8.2 - fail
back to 8.1 - OK
back to 8.2 - fail
back to 8.1 - OK
This confirms it was not just a reboot that fixed the problem.

Hi,
I am trying to upgrade my system to latest pCP. The first issue is

bengaldave, It's digital, and the sound quality is excellent. I run pi
into a Denon AV receiver sounds just like the CD from which the FLAC
files were created.

Thx a lot guys for the great insights.
I have a friend using an "audiophile" PC dedicated for his system, he's
got the same DAC as I have and I think I'll bring my Rpi4 setup to his
place so we can see of we hear any difference. [emoji846][emoji106]
