Found the issue. We're using WebSphere and the LoadModule directive for the
WebSphere plugin had to be loaded before libxml2.so. Still not sure why
(probably a messed up library path or something due to the order), but I'm
happy with the result.

Here is my setup:

A client comes in with an https:// request. Apache receives that
request and proxies the connection to our backend tomcat server via

Joshua,
Thanks, it looks like the http://server.name.dom:80/WebDAV did the trick
with getting basic authentication to work, but now from XP sp2 Explorer,
the directory of the WebDAV share, also contains an infinite recursion of
the WebDAV directory itself !!??!! Here is my apache setup:

Hi!
Maybe I can get a clue to you.
1. Copy the php module to the apache's module folder
e.g. copy "php5apache2.dll" to c:\WebSever 2.2.4\Apache2\modules
2. Go to the conf folder of the Apache Web Server.
e.g. cd c:\WebServer 2.2.4\Apache2\conf
3. Open the configuration file "httpd.conf"

apply with Vista, the the advanced versions will probably work in some
fashion but the more basic versions will not.

Hi,
I wanted to know if there is a way to limit number of connexions
to a vhosts defined via Ip and Port.
A sort of MaxClients but specific to a vhosts.
All the MPM configuration is valid for the httpd server, and therefore the
same
for all vhosts.
thanks for any help.
I was under the impression that you can't Redirect match on a requested
hostname, you redirect to a explicit hostname, but you can't test for
it, for instance
Redirect /some/path http://otherhost.mydomain.com/some/path
will work, were as
Redirect http://mydomain.com/ http://otherhost.mydomain
Maybe you should use the Redirect or RedirectMatch directive instead of
mod_rewrite. It's considered to be faster, I haven't measured yet however.
