The problem is solved. Our network and firewall is has some problems and not
stable. It's fixed now.

X11 applications look at the DISPLAY environment variable to figure
out where to well, display.. Your Xserver has access control that is

So I have various scripts that run server side like so;

The contents of those scripts runs fine.
So I run a command in my script which requires an xterm, say xeyes for
example.
While I can run x
I found references TO ApacheCtl, as in documentation, but did not find the
actual script itself... NOW what?

bells started ringing and of course the other VH's (eg, localhost) have
an entry there.

I've got apache and tomcat linked using mod_proxy_jk which you should be
able to
do as jboss uses tomcat.
