Thanks Adrian for your advise, I really appreciate it, if you look at
the mailing list by author you will see in last year, my problem has
been same, i have been very specific and at times i have been random.
I appologize for my randomness, and trust me i grew in technology

Khan,
You are mixing enage_mediaproxy and use_mediaproxy in your
configuration. Look at the module doc:

The quality of an answer seldom exceeds the quality of the asked
question. The more accurate and focused the question is, the more the
chance is that you get a good answer for it. Asking to a busy mailing
list a set of wide questions caused by mere ignorance of the subject

I am using standard CFG file with few additions only, rest of
the configuration is standard. I added lines related to record_route()
as follows:
This is a feature of the UA. If you are comparing it to something like
Asterisk, it's not going to work the same way. If two devices register on
the same account, they'll both receive calls for that account. Personally, I
think this makes a ton of more sense than how asterisk does it.

Hi:
I caught the failure again with logs enabled. First of all, I've
realized that I made a mistake explaining the issue before. There is no
problem with forward busy at all as I said. The problem appears with forward
on no answer only, so this is the part of the script to take into account:

Hi,
I asume you want to establish a kind of keepalive.
Try it with:
loadmodule "nat_traversal.so"
# - nat_traversal
modparam("nat_traversal", "keepalive_interval", 90)
modparam("nat_traversal", "keepalive_method", "OPTIONS")
modparam("nat_traversal", "keepalive_from", "sip:keepal...@domain.
Hi All,
I would that the opensips Registrar will process the REGISTER method in
2 different way:
1) The registration process use the default parameter (max expire
time 3600 seconds)
2) If the client is behind a NAT the max expire interval will be
set to 30 seconds, so the clien
Hi,
hmmm. I would say this is rather a question of the UA or timeout. You could
- limit the amount of registers per user (which would cause, that the
2nd attemp will fail)
- take a very low timeout, so the entry will be deleted automaticly.
- build something before the save("location") that will e
Thanks, Uwe.
Yes, I mean register here. How to configure opensips if I want to kick out
the account?

Hi,
login=register?
I think this is normal behaviour, a feature of SIP.

Hi,
I has logined to opensips with one account, and logined from another
computer with the same account, why the opensips doesn't kick out the
account in previous machine? Thanks a lot.

Hi John,
This mid-registrar approach may work but it is not 100% correct as
OpenSIPS (as mid-registrar) does not obey the actions of the final
registrar (Asterisk). Ex:
- Asterisk may forbid the registration and you already saved the
registration on OpenSIPS
- Asterisk may change the Ex
Hi,
Do not get it wrong - people are willing to help with specific cases,
giving you indication / hints / troubleshooting, but again, for
particular cases. More generic cases like writing a whole script from
zero is a different story :).
You may try building your script by pushing questions on

Hi Simon,
if a client changes its IP, it is up to it do detect it and to
re-register with the server with the new IP - the server cannot do
anything about this.
Also, the fact you have 2 contact registered with the server (old IP and
new IP) seams to be a bug in the client - when it detects th
Hi Ashwini,
There is no crash - OpenSIPS is not able to start actually; probably
because of the mi_xmplrc module:

Hi Matti,
Well, it should be possible - you do a 2 steps interaction with the Linkys :
- first send the NOTIFY via the t_uac_dlg MI command and get from the
result the auth challenge (in the MI command response you do have access
to the SIP reply)
- generate a new NOTIFY request including the Au
