Hi, there. A while back we rendered our single internal repository (running
Artifactory at the moment) basically unusable due to an expired certificate.
That was a big scare. We had all developers do not much for a whole business
day. Now looking for alternatives.

I read that you can have repositories be each other's proxy. I suppose you
put both repository servers in the list of mirrors that developers use. And
I see how you could achieve failover for retrieving artifacts.

But what about deploying new artifacts? We release anywhere between three
and twenty components on a daily basis. I can't define "mirrors" for
"distributionManagement", which is fair enough, but how can Maven ever
handle the distributionManagement server going down?
