Is there any way to flush a project from memory without restarting the IDE?
I run into this use case too often, usually when trying to check out
some package in a test environment.
The sequence of operations looks something like this (NB 11.3, Win 10,

Thanks for the hint, Laszlo.
Surprise: After starting the IDE again to view the logs, the projects were
opened automatically.
Anyway in the logs I find:
Even though the source level of /home/ich/Projects/Palm/jUSB/src is set to:
1.7, java.lang.AssertionError cannot be found on the bootclasspath

Hi,
To understand the problem I have in the context of wine-NetBeans, let me try to

In wine, I failed to install either cygwin or msys2 which in my opinion is the
ultimate misery.
If I try a c ++ run project, NetBeans starts the run but does not make standard

Hi,
That's right.
Why can't an external terminal be used?

Maybe we are thinking of different things but you basically want the IDE to
just execute externally another terminal-like app?

went to compare them in Netbeans and Netbeans doesn't want to open them. If I

Nor sure about mingw but I guess the cmd window was not a VT when this was

Hi,
Is there any explanation why NetBeans can't use "cmd window" or "mingw-msys"
but only needs a cygwin terminal.
The external terminal works with all terminals as specified.
Otherwise I use (linux) and (wine, mingw64) NetBeans dev.

Hi,
I just installed NB11.3 and I noticed that the "What's New" page of the
Start Page just shows "Error while loading content." Clicking "Reload"
doesn't display anything further but it does flash the "Learn &
Discover" tab a light blue.
I restarted NB11.0 and the "What's New" page does dis
